September 18-20 - Ruth is teaching 7 classes at Cake Camp at the Riviera in Las Vegas, NV. Spots are still available in several of the classes. She is teaching Geisha Dolls, Holiday Babies, Painting on Sugar - Cocoa butter and colorful cocoa butter, Dusting 101, Modeling Cats Dogs and Fish and Modeling Woodland Animals. October 18 - Ruth is doing her 9th endurance event for Team in Training, the fundraising arm of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Ruth will be walking the half marathon at the Nike Women's Marathon in San Francisco, CA. Yes, it is hilly. No, she hasn't trained....again. Ruth walks these marathons in honor of some of her youngest customers and in memory of others. As she tackles the hills, she will be thinking of Emory Hood and wishing him health, remembering Maria Anna Arvanitis and Mitchell Whitaker - taken far too young and will be walking in the memory of her baker, Darrell's mom - Betty Jean - who lost her battle with leukemia. March 8 at 9 pm Central time on TLC - Ultimate Cake Off episode airs!! Ruth was again chosen to assist Pat Jacoby as Team Jacoby goes for its second win! Watch as the team decorates a wedding cake with an old Hollywood glamour feeling. Ruth hasn't lost a challenge on tv yet...what will happen in this episode?
March 20-21 - National Capitol Area Cake Show, Fairfax, VA - Ruth will be teaching how to make a Gum Paste Clematis. Ruth will be demonstrating how to make a carved bass fish.
